We're pleased to announce that we have agreed a new partnership for the 2013 season with BC Liga Stavok, a Russian betting company.

BC Liga Stavok was founded in 2008 by Oleg Zhuravsky, President of the National Association of Russian Bookmakers, and Yuri Krasovsky. The company focuses on the development of the betting industry in Russia and is active in the support and promotion of Russian national sports. BC Liga Stavok has the reputation of having the best betting shop in Russia and CIS countries and the highest European standards. The company operates in strict compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, based on license №6 (08.07.2009), and, at present, the company has more than 500 Customer Service Centers in over 120 cities of the Russian Federation.

We have worked with BC Liga Stavok previously, having entered into an event sponsorship agreement for last year’s Moscow City Racing competition on the streets of the capital city. For 2013, BC Liga Stavok will benefit from branding on the MR02 race car, Team and driver apparel and other elements of the trackside environment throughout the 19 Grands Prix of the coming season.

Andy Webb, CEO, Marussia F1 Team

“As we head into the opening round of the 2013 Formula 1™ World Championship, there can be no better time to boost our season ambitions with the news that we have secured a new partnership on home soil back in Russia. In the build-up towards the first Russian Grand Prix in Sochi next year, support for our Team and our sport is growing rapidly, giving corporates and fans an even greater incentive to share in the Formula 1 experience. We look forward to bringing more of F1 to Russia and more of Russia to F1.”

Oleg Zhuravsky, Honorary President, BC Liga Stavok

“The first time we became a sponsor of the Marussia F1 Team was at Moscow City Racing in July last year. We took the decision that, if this experiment proved to be a success, we would sponsor the Team for the 2013 season. And so it happened. For the first time in the sport’s history we have a Russian company sponsoring a Russian team. I hope that the synergy of the two ‘number ones’ (11 is a lucky number in betting) - the First Russian International Betting Company, Liga Stavok, and the first Russian team in Formula 1, Marussia F1 Team - will work together to achieve shared success.“
